As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at North Michigan News have sent a request for records under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act § 15.231 et seq. to the Leelanau County Election Division.

The request specifically seeks the pre-election test report for election voting machines in PDF format with specific fields including the test date, machine manufacture, machine model number, and machine status (whether it passed or failed).
