The City of Cadillac has begun updating its Zoning Ordinance and is seeking public input. Residents are encouraged to participate in educational sessions and community surveys that will help gather feedback on important topics.

A survey focusing on housing is currently open. The city asks residents to complete the survey so that staff, commissioners, and elected officials can better understand the needs of the community.

The first educational session about the zoning update process is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Wellfield Training Room located at 7241 E 44rd, Cadillac, MI 49601. This event will allow residents to learn more about the process and ask questions.

For more information or updates regarding the Zoning Ordinance Update, residents can visit the city's Zoning Code Update Webpage.
