State Rep. Cam Cavitt of Cheboygan, Michigan, is spreading the joy of reading during National Reading Month by providing books and bookmarks to families in Northeast Michigan. Reflecting on the importance of reading with children, Rep. Cavitt shared, "Some of my best memories with my kids are reading with them on the couch or before bedtime." He emphasized that these simple moments hold great value, stating, “These moments, however simple, are cherished by our kids and contribute so much toward their literacy abilities.”

Throughout March, Rep. Cavitt is actively engaging with the community by visiting local schools and reading to classrooms in Northeast Michigan.
