Of the 2,338 people living in Charlevoix in 2019, 54.2 percent (1,267) were women and 45.8 percent (1,071) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Michigan News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 793-to-648. In the 65 and over age range, there were 320 females and 245 males.
