Northern Michigan University’s athletic teams have a full schedule of competitions from September 22 to September 28, 2025. Several teams will compete both at home and on the road.

The women’s golf team starts its season with the Warrior Invitational in Washington, Michigan, playing two rounds on Monday and one round on Tuesday. The team then heads to Big Rapids for the Bulldog Fall Classic at Katke Golf Course over the weekend.

The volleyball team is set to play its first home matches of the year this weekend, facing two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponents. Parkside arrives undefeated with a 9-0 record, while Roosevelt comes into Marquette after a 1-9 start to their season.

Women’s soccer returns home for five consecutive matches following a split result last weekend that included head coach Erin Egolf’s first win. The Wildcats host Grand Valley State, ranked No. 4/1 nationally and holding a 4-1 record, on Friday. On Sunday, they face Davenport, which has yet to secure a win this season with an 0-4-2 record.

Men’s soccer embarks on its first GLIAC away games of the season with trips to Indiana and Illinois to play Purdue Northwest (1-4-1) and Roosevelt (2-1-3).

The cross country team aims to build on its recent podium finish at the Roy Griak meet as it travels to Kenosha, Wisconsin for the Lucian Rosa Invite hosted by Parkside. Last year, Northern Michigan finished fourth out of ten teams at this event.

All times are listed in Eastern Time. Home contests are indicated in bold.
