The Northern Michigan University (NMU) lacrosse team has released its schedule for the 2026 season, with games set to begin in February.

The Wildcats will open their campaign with five consecutive home games. They will face Calvin University and Northwood for the first time in program history on February 13 and 15. The home stretch continues with matches against McKendree and UW-Stout on February 19 and 21, concluding with Lewis on February 22.

During spring break, NMU will travel to Colorado for its first road games of the season. The team is scheduled to play Colorado Mesa, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, and Regis University. Last season, Colorado Mesa reached the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championship as the top seed but lost to nationally ranked Regis. Colorado-Colorado Springs finished their previous season with a record of 9-6, including a victory over GLIAC opponent Davenport, before being eliminated by Regis in the RMAC postseason's first round. Regis concluded last year ranked No. 14 in Division II after winning the RMAC Championship and securing a win in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats will remain on the road the following weekend to compete against Ashland and University of Indianapolis. Both teams won their respective conference championships last year and appeared in the NCAA Tournament.

Conference play begins at home against Saginaw Valley on March 20. NMU then travels to Michigan’s lower peninsula for matches against Grand Valley and Davenport. The regular season home schedule wraps up with three consecutive matches: Concordia-St. Paul on April 4, followed by Davenport and Grand Valley on April 10 and 12.

The regular season concludes with two away games: Saginaw Valley on April 19 and Concordia-St. Paul on April 25.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) postseason tournament is scheduled to start May 1.

"The full lacrosse schedule can be found here. Dates and times are subject to change."
