Daniel Wilcome and Henry Stempky, former Cheboygan Area High School standouts, played on Saturday, March 1 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, March 1, former Cheboygan Area High School standouts Daniel Wilcome and Henry Stempky’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Athletes in Action Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 5 p.m. at Tarboro Municipal Stadium against Walsh Cavaliers.
