On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Cheboygan Area High School standouts Daniel Wilcome and Henry Stempky’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Maryville Saints.

The game took place at Weber Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Saints this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. at Weber Baseball Field against Maryville Saints.
