The Northern Michigan Volleyball team has released its schedule for the 2025 season, as announced by coach Mike Lozier. The upcoming season will feature three tournaments, nine home matches, and competitions against teams from nine different states. Additionally, the Wildcats will face four programs they have not previously encountered.

The season opener is set at the SpringHill Suites Invitational hosted by the University of West Florida. On September 4, Northern Michigan University (NMU) will compete against Wheeling University for the first time. The following day includes a doubleheader with new opponent Spring Hill College and Southwest Minnesota State. The invitational concludes on September 6 with NMU facing host West Florida in another inaugural matchup.

The Wildcats will then participate in the Huskies Volleyball Classic at St. Cloud State. They are scheduled to play Minnesota Duluth on September 11, followed by Barry and host St. Cloud State on September 12. The tournament ends on September 13 with a first-time match against Adelphi University.

Conference play kicks off with away games against Davenport on September 19 and Ferris State on September 20.

The team's home opener is scheduled for September 26 at Vandament Arena against Parkside, followed by a match with Roosevelt on September 27.

Subsequent away matches include visits to Saginaw Valley State and Lake Superior State on October 3 and October 4, respectively. The following weekend sees NMU traveling to Michigan Tech on October 9 before heading to Purdue Northwest for an October 11 contest.

After participating in the Midwest Crossover Tournament on October 17-18, NMU returns to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play with a three-game homestand featuring Grand Valley State on October 24, Wayne State on October 25, and Michigan Tech visiting Vandament Arena on October 28.

Northern's final road trip includes matches at Roosevelt on Halloween night and Parkside on November 1.

The regular season concludes with a four-game homestand beginning November 7 against Ferris State and continuing through November 8 versus Davenport. The last weekend of regular-season play occurs November 14-15 with contests against Lake Superior State and Saginaw Valley State.

The GLIAC Tournament is slated to commence on November 19.
