The Northern Michigan lacrosse team is preparing for its final regular-season game against Concordia-St. Paul. The match will be held on Saturday, April 26, at noon in the Superior Dome, offering free entry for fans while also providing a live stream on FLoLive.

As the regular season concludes, NMU aims to secure a win on home ground. In a special moment, the team will honor seven seniors: Maddi Bast, Camryn Mayer, Dayna Carlson, Olivia Rose, Peyton Smith, Taylor Priestley, and Norah Bates.

The Wildcats, with a current record of 9-7 and 3-4 in the GLIAC, are coming off a significant 20-0 victory over Saginaw Valley. This marked only the second shutout in the program's history. Prior to this, NMU experienced tough defeats against GVSU and Davenport.

Concordia-St. Paul, holding a 9-6 record and 5-2 in the GLIAC, comes into the game with four victories in their last five matches. They most recently celebrated a 20-2 win against SVSU on their senior day.

Among the Wildcats, Josie Lakosky stands out by leading the GLIAC with 63 goals and holding the highest points at 82. NMU also excels in draw controls with four players listed in the top ten of the conference.

The Golden Bears are led by Susie Monson, who leads the GLIAC in assists per game and ranks highly in points and shots per game. Anna Fischer also contributes significantly to their offensive efforts.

Freshman goalkeeper Katie Colleran ranks impressively in the GLIAC with a save percentage of 49.7%. The Bears lead the conference in assists and rank second in points and shots per game.

Historically, NMU holds a slight edge over Concordia-St. Paul with a 9-8 record but faced a 9-13 defeat earlier this season following a six-game winning streak.
