The Northern Michigan University (NMU) women's soccer team has published its schedule for the 2025 season. The Wildcats, led by new head coach Erin Egolf, will play a total of 21 matches. This includes 18 regular season games, 14 conference, and four non-conference contests, with 13 taking place at home and eight away.

The season kicks off with three exhibition matches against Division II teams UW-Stevens Point and Carroll University at home on August 22 and 24, followed by a game against Division III Marian in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on August 27. Carroll ended the previous season with a narrow 1-1 tie and a subsequent loss in penalties during the CCIW championship, while Marian fell out in the conference quarterfinals after a 7-9-4 season record.

NMU begins its regular season with four non-conference games over consecutive weekends in Marquette. St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth visit on September 5 and 7, while Northwood and Cedarville follow on September 11 and 13. Notably, the opponents have each achieved noteworthy successes, with St. Cloud State reaching the NCAA tournament and Northwood and Cedarville making significant conference tournament appearances.

The conference play begins with the Wildcats facing Roosevelt and Parkside away on September 19 and 21. Roosevelt is coming off its first season as a Division II program. NMU then hosts a series of home matches against Grand Valley State, Davenport, Ferris State, Saginaw Valley, and Michigan Tech between September 26 and October 13.

The closing stretch of the season involves a succession of away games. NMU travels to Saginaw and Davenport on October 17 and 19, then returns to play Grand Valley and Ferris State on October 24 and 26. The team concludes its regular season with a home stance against Roosevelt and Parkside on October 31 and November 2, ending with an away game against Purdue Northwest in Hammond, Indiana, on November 6.

Further details of the schedule are available through the university. However, the dates and times may change.
