NMU women's golf prepares for ODU NC4K Classic in Ohio

The women's golf team from Northern Michigan University is on the road for their final regular season tournament at the ODU NC4K Classic. The event, hosted by Ohio Dominican University, will take place at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. The NMU 'Cats are among 16 teams, including several Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponents.

Scheduled for Monday, April 7, and Tuesday, April 8, the tournament will feature three rounds. Two rounds are set for Monday, followed by the final round on Tuesday. This schedule aims to help the team prepare for the upcoming GLIAC Championships, which will also be a three-day event.

Weather conditions during the tournament are expected to be challenging. On Monday, the forecast predicts a high of 55°F with winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph. The day is expected to begin partly cloudy, with clouds increasing later and showers developing. Tuesday's weather will include a mix of sunshine and clouds, with a high around 40°F and winds between 10 to 15 mph.

Representing NMU, the team members participating in scoring are Maggie Pietila, Hailey Bolander, Abbie Pietila, Maddy Martens, Payton Dube, and Gabriella Moreau. Additionally, Abby Luke will compete as an individual. Live scoring for the tournament is available online.
