Northern Michigan University (NMU) athletics will be hosting several events this upcoming week featuring their golf, track and field, and lacrosse teams. Here is a rundown of the scheduled events from March 31 to April 6.
On Monday, March 31, both the men's and women's golf teams will participate in the Flyer Spring Invite, beginning at 10 AM. This tournament continues through Tuesday, April 1, with the second round also scheduled for a 10 AM tee time.
The weekend will be busy for NMU athletics, with events spanning Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6. The men's golf team will compete in the Bill Blazer Memorial, with round one on Saturday and subsequent rounds on Sunday. Tee times are yet to be announced. Track & field athletes will participate in the Golden Grizzly Invite on Saturday, though the schedule remains unconfirmed.
In lacrosse, NMU will face Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday at 1 PM Eastern Time. This will be followed by a match against the College of Saint Benedict on Sunday, also set for a 1 PM start.
