The Northern Michigan University (NMU) men's swim and dive team wrapped up their season with a 13th place finish at the 2025 NCAA Championships. The team celebrated several achievements, including All-American honors and top finishes.

The championships began on March 11 with diving qualifications, followed by four days of competition. NMU divers Tobie Stiles and Benaiah Schnurstein advanced to the NCAA Championships as two of the top 18 divers from an initial group of 40.

On the second day, Leo Nolles secured a bronze medal in the 50 freestyle, earning First Team All-America honors. He also anchored the 200 medley relay team, consisting of Ian Rocheleau, Wyatt Dickman, and William LaCount, which received Second Team All-America recognition.

During the third day, Stiles competed in the 3-meter diving event, Daniel Lopez Aponte participated in the 400 IM, and the 400 medley relay team—comprising Rocheleau, Dickman, LaCount, and Nolles—also achieved Second Team All-America status. Stiles finished in 16th place; Lopez Aponte came in 11th; and the relay team secured a 13th place finish.

The fourth day brought another medal for NMU as the 200 freestyle relay team of LaCount, Gabriel Fulconi, Daniel Khmara, and Nolles won silver. They narrowly missed first place by just 0.03 seconds. Dickman added to his accolades by finishing 12th in the 100 breaststroke.

On the final day of competition, Nolles earned his second individual bronze medal in the week by placing third in the 100 freestyle. He also anchored the 400 freestyle relay team alongside LaCount, Fulconi, and Khmara to an eighth-place finish and First Team All-America honor. Both Dickman and Stiles placed 11th in their respective events—the 200 breaststroke and 1-meter diving—securing Second Team All-America titles.

Nolles achieved third place finishes in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle events. The team's notable performances included several First Team All-America honors for Nolles individually and for both relay teams he was part of: the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay.
