Northern Michigan University's freshman forward, Jakub Altrichter, has been selected for the CCHA All-Rookie team. The announcement was made by the league on Tuesday.
Altrichter hails from Prague, Czechia, and played 32 games for the Wildcats this season. He led his team in assists with 16 and points with 19. Additionally, he scored one game-winning goal and ranked second in shots with 80, while maintaining discipline with only two penalties throughout the season.
During the conference games, Altrichter achieved three goals and 14 assists totaling 17 points. He led conference freshmen in assists and was second in points during the league's schedule. Altrichter also excelled in faceoffs, securing 226 wins and achieving a faceoff win percentage of 52.9%, ranking him second among freshmen.
