Sophomore forward Josie Lakosky has been recognized as the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. During the 'Cats spring break road trip, Lakosky demonstrated impressive performance by scoring 12 goals and making four assists across three games, totaling 16 points.
In a standout performance against Missouri Western, Lakosky set a new program record for most points in a single game. She achieved seven goals and three assists, surpassing the previous record of nine points. This also marked a personal best for Lakosky, who broke her own records of six goals and seven points in a single game.
Lakosky's contributions were pivotal during the team's road trip, which included a narrow 13-14 overtime loss to Quincy and an 18-6 victory over Missouri Western.
