FOIA Request to Cheboygan County Election Division Regarding Information on Upcoming Election Candidates on February 5, 2025.

In a bid to uphold transparency and accountability in the electoral process, North Michigan News has sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Cheboygan County Election Division. The request, dated February 5, 2025, seeks comprehensive details about all candidates running in the upcoming elections.

This includes their first, middle and last names; the office they are running for; jurisdiction of the office; party affiliation; as well as contact information such as address, phone number and email address.
