Rep. Jack Bergman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 1st district, recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Bergman, who has been serving since 2017, expressed concerns and opinions on international and domestic matters.

On February 2, 2025, Rep. Bergman addressed the situation involving hostages held by Hamas. He stated that "Yarden was released. Shiri, Ariel, and baby Kfir Bibas are still hostages." He condemned the actions of Hamas terrorists for taunting Yarden about his family's fate and called for their release or face consequences from Israel and its allies.

Two days later, on February 4, 2025, Rep. Bergman commented on the confirmation of Rep. Doug Collins as VA Chairman. He noted that ".@RepDougCollins nomination to serve as VA Chairman should have been unanimous, yet 23 Democrats voted against him today." Despite this opposition, Collins was confirmed for the position.

In another tweet on the same day, Rep. Bergman expressed optimism about working with the new VA Secretary and President Biden to improve veterans' services. He wrote that "Having served alongside our new VA Secretary in the House, I’m grateful he was nominated and look forward to working with him and @POTUS to cut bureaucratic red tape..." emphasizing a commitment to prioritizing veterans' wellbeing.
