Northern Michigan University's men's basketball forward Dylan Kuehl has been recognized as the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week. This honor follows his impressive performance in a game against Upper Iowa, where he scored 19 points and secured seven rebounds, leading to a 79-76 victory.

Kuehl's contribution was significant as he shot 72.7% from the field, making crucial shots in the final moments of the game. His consistent offensive play is evident, having scored at least 12 points in each of the last seven games while maintaining a shooting percentage of at least 50%. Throughout this season, Kuehl has reached double figures in scoring in all but one game. He is currently ranked eighth in scoring within the conference with an average of 15.4 points per game, seventh in rebounds per game at 6.6, and third in field goal percentage at 53%.

Earlier this season, Kuehl achieved a personal milestone by surpassing 1,000 career points, becoming only the 35th player in Northern Michigan's program history to do so.

The Wildcats are set to face Northland College on Saturday, December 21.
