After defeating the Michigan Tech Huskies in the GLIAC Quarterfinals, the Wildcats are set to host the Davenport Panthers on Friday. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m., and fans can attend for free or follow via radio at 100.3 The Point or a live stream on FloFC.
As the top seed, the Wildcats will host the final four teams in Marquette over the weekend. The Grand Valley State Lakers and Saginaw Valley State Cardinals will face off at 11 a.m. before the Wildcats' game against Davenport.
The finals are set for Sunday at 1 p.m., featuring winners from both matches. This semifinal marks the third meeting this year between the Wildcats and Panthers but their first postseason encounter. In previous matches, the Wildcats won 3-0 at home with goals from Hannah Kastamo, Allison Kroll, and Brooke Pietila but lost 0-1 away.

In recent GLIAC awards, Brooke Pietila was named Offensive Player of the Year, Hannah Kastamo Defender of the Year, Sally Patton Freshman of the Year, and Jon Sandoval Coach of the Year. Several NMU players were also recognized in All-GLIAC teams.
The Davenport Panthers secured their place by defeating Ferris State Bulldogs 1-0 in their quarterfinal match, marking their first GLIAC postseason win and first victory against Ferris State. Haley Diekevers scored for Davenport while Elizabeth Wolter made a career-high 12 saves.
Arianna Diemer received All-GLIAC Second Team honors as a defender alongside Diekevers' at-large nomination; Gabby Scholten earned an Honorable Mention spot.
