The Northern Michigan University men's swim and dive team participated in a double-dual meet against Wayne State and Findlay, securing a win over Findlay but losing to Wayne State. The Wildcats defeated Findlay with a score of 184-95 but were edged out by Wayne State, 132-165.
William LaCount led the team with first-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly, and as part of the 400-yard freestyle relay. He narrowly missed first place in the 100-yard freestyle by just .01 seconds.
Gabriel Fulcoini contributed significantly with wins in the 200-yard freestyle and as part of the 400-yard freestyle relay. He also took second place in the 500-yard freestyle and third in the 400-yard medley relay.
Wyatt Dickman excelled with victories in both the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke events. He finished second in the 400 individual medley and was part of the third-place team in the 400-yard medley relay.
Leo Nolles secured a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle and was part of the winning team for the 400-yard freestyle relay. Additionally, he claimed third place in the 50-yard freestyle.
Other notable performances included Daniel Khmara's second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, Tobie Stiles' silver medal performance in one-meter diving, and a third-place finish for NMU's A team in the 400-yard medley relay.
