For the second consecutive season, the Northern Michigan men's basketball team has secured a spot in the Division II NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats have been awarded an at-large selection with a 22-10 record and will enter as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region. They are set to face their conference rival, No. 5 Ferris State, on Saturday, March 16, at UIndy, which is hosting and is also the No. 1 seed.

In other matchups within the Midwest Region, UIndy will compete against No. 8 William Jewell, while No. 2 Kentucky Wesleyan will play against No. 7 Upper Iowa. Additionally, No. 3 Walsh is scheduled to meet No. 6 Lake Superior State.

Last season, Northern Michigan traveled to Indianapolis for the tournament where they achieved victory over Hillsdale in the First Round but were subsequently defeated by McKendree in the Round of 32.
