Dylan Kuehl earns repeat All-GLIAC First Team and Defensive honors

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its men's basketball All-GLIAC awards. Dylan Kuehl was named to the First Team and All-Defensive Team for the second consecutive season.

Kuehl, who previously received these honors as a redshirt freshman, repeated his performance in his sophomore year. He concluded the regular season with an average of 16.2 points per game, ranking sixth in the conference. His statistics also placed him among the top ten in several categories: he was second with 188 made shots, fourth with 172 total rebounds, and fifth with 29 blocks. Kuehl achieved a shooting percentage of 50.5% from the field.

Throughout the season, Kuehl recorded four double-doubles, including an impressive game against Saginaw Valley State where he scored 30 points, grabbed ten rebounds, and blocked six shots. He now holds a career total of 11 double-doubles. In a recent GLIAC quarterfinal victory over Purdue Northwest, Kuehl led Northern Michigan University (NMU) with 27 points. Over two seasons, he has accumulated 916 points, 398 rebounds, 113 assists, and 68 blocks across 63 games.

Max Weisbrod received GLIAC Player of the Year honors along with a place on the First Team. Additionally, Coach Matt Majkrzak was named GLIAC Coach of the Year.
