Northern Michigan women’s wrestling team to compete in Ken Kraft Midlands Championships

The Northern Michigan University women's wrestling team is set to compete at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships on Saturday, December 30. The event will take place at Northwestern University in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with competition starting at noon Eastern Time.

This year marks the 59th edition of this prestigious non-conference wrestling tournament. For the second year in a row, both men's and women's divisions will be included, featuring nine women's programs.

In their last outing, Northern Michigan hosted the Wildcat Duals on December 17. They secured victories against Algoma with a score of 29-5 and Lakeland with a score of 30-4. During these duals and subsequent exhibitions, Zhivanna Magdaleno and Natasha Kuberski each won two matches. Additional wins were recorded by Ruby Joseph, Sharon Leon, Alissa Caltagirone, Samantha Chaon, and Mickaela Keane.
