The United Soccer Coaches (USC) has revealed its 2023 Women's Soccer All-Midwest Region Team, recognizing five athletes from the Northern Michigan University (NMU) women's soccer program. Isabelle Brusilow, Maria Storm, Brooke Pietila, Molly Pistorius, and Gwen Kiilunen have been honored for their performances.

Brusilow, Storm, Pietila, and Pistorius were named to the First Team All-Midwest Region. This marks a program record for NMU with four athletes on the first team in a single season. Kiilunen was named to the Third Team All-Midwest Region.

Isabelle Brusilow is making her second appearance on a D2 United Soccer Coaches All-Region team. This year she received first-team recognition after being on the second team last season. "A member of the 2023 Second Team All-GLIAC and 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team," Brusilow started every match this season and recorded an assist.

Maria Storm played every match and was recognized as GLIAC Defensive Player of the Year among other accolades. "Her 2023 season includes USC All-Region First Team recognition," alongside two game-winning goals.

Brooke Pietila returns to the USC All-Region First Team for another year despite missing one game due to injury. She contributed significantly with free-kicks and set-piece plays and was also recognized in several all-star teams including "the 2023 First Team All-GLIAC."

Molly Pistorius achieved her second consecutive USC accolade by securing a spot on the First Team this year after being named to the Second Team previously. Her offensive performance earned her titles such as GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Gwen Kiilunen completed NMU's list of honorees by earning a place on the USC Third Team. A consistent figure in defense, she played nearly every minute this season while scoring her first career goal during her final match against Maryville in the NCAA Tournament.

The complete list of USC teams is available online.
