NMU women's nordic team finishes season strong at SuperTour Finals

The Northern Michigan University (NMU) women's nordic skiing team concluded their 2023/24 season at the SuperTour Finals with a 40km mass start event. The race took place in Duluth, Minnesota, where athletes Pearl Harvey, Kolibri Drobish, and Victoria Dybwad led the team's efforts.

Pearl Harvey secured a 15th place overall finish and ranked fourth among collegiate competitors with a time of 2:12:04. Her performance improved significantly as she advanced seven positions from her initial lap placement. Following closely was Kolibri Drobish, who finished 16th overall and fifth collegiately with a time of 2:13:24.2. She improved by two positions from her starting point of 18th place. Victoria Dybwad completed the trio's performance by finishing directly behind Drobish in 17th place overall and sixth collegiately, recording an identical time of 2:13:24.2 despite dropping two spots from her opening lap position.

In another group of NMU skiers, Flisa Ravald finished in 21st place overall and ninth among collegiate competitors with a time of 2:18:04.1, advancing three positions during the race. Merle Richter followed in 24th place overall and ranked as the 12th collegiate skier with a time of 2:21:14.0. Henriette Nilssen rounded out this group by finishing in 25th place overall and securing the 13th spot collegiately with a time of 2:21:16.8.
