Nilssen leads NMU women's nordic ski team at SuperTour Finals

The NMU women's nordic ski team participated in the SuperTour Finals and Spring Nationals, with Henriette Nilssen leading the Wildcats on the opening day. The event took place in Duluth, Minnesota, where 45 athletes competed, including both collegiate and professional skiers.

Henriette Nilssen achieved a time of 27:41.2, securing second place among collegiate athletes and U20 skiers while finishing 10th overall. Merle Richter followed closely with a time of 28:10.7, placing second for NMU, fourth among collegiate competitors, and 14th overall.

Victoria Dybwad and Pearl Harvey finished eighth and ninth among collegiate participants with times of 29:27.6 and 29:34.1 respectively. Flisa Ravald secured the 13th position among college skiers, Jordan Parent came in at 15th place, and Ella Niznik completed the team's performance by finishing in 19th place.

The Wildcats are set to compete again on Saturday in the Classic Sprint event.
