Minnie Bittell from Northern Michigan University's women's lacrosse team has been recognized as the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week. This marks her fourth such honor in the 2024 season.

Bittell reached a significant milestone by surpassing 300 career points during a game against Concordia-St. Paul, which ended in an 11-5 victory for NMU. In that match, she contributed four goals and four assists and secured three draw controls. This achievement adds to her record of scoring four or more goals ten times, eight or more points five times, and four or more assists three times this season. Bittell is approaching another milestone with only two points needed to reach 100 season points and 100 ground balls.

The Wildcats are set to participate in the conference championships starting Friday in Allendale, Michigan.
