The Northern Michigan University (NMU) athletics teams are preparing for a busy weekend of competition. The track and field team will participate in the St. Norbert College Invite in De Pere, Wisconsin, marking their final event before the GLIAC Outdoor Championships. This follows a successful previous weekend where the team secured six first-place finishes along with several podium placements.
Meanwhile, the NMU lacrosse team is set to conclude its regular season on Saturday with an away game against Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears. The Wildcats have been performing strongly, currently holding a four-game winning streak against their upcoming opponents and having won seven out of their last eight encounters.
