Men's Nordic team competes on first day of NCAA Skiing Championships

The men's Nordic ski team concluded their first day at the NCAA Skiing Championships in Steamboat, Colorado. Kristoffer Karsrud led the Wildcats with a finish time of 21:35.2, placing him 31st overall.

Luke Fricker followed closely behind, completing the race in 21:49.2 and securing the 33rd position. Notably, Fricker achieved the 16th fastest time during the initial 2.5km segment of the race.

Mathias Haugen was the final Wildcat to cross the finish line, coming in at 35th place with a time of 21:55.8.

The competition will continue for the Wildcats on Saturday, March 9th, with the 20K classic mass start event.
