The Northern Michigan men's golf team is preparing for their first spring event of the 2024 season at the Sea Trails Invitational in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. The competition will take place over two days, from Thursday, March 7 to Friday, March 8, at the Sea Trails Golf Resort on the Jones Course.

The tournament will be held on the Jones Course at Sea Trails Golf Resort. This course will be played from the blue tees with a length of 6711 yards and a slope rating of 138. It is a par-72 course featuring wide fairways surrounded by water hazards that come into play on 11 holes. The course also includes several pot bunkers and large expanse bunkers that present challenges when approaching the green.
In their last outing during the fall season, Northern Michigan competed at the Whistling Straits Intercollegiate in October, where they finished tied for eighth out of twelve teams with an overall score of 662 (+86). Russel Sprecher was a standout performer for the Wildcats, shooting rounds of 81 (+9) and 75 (+3) for a total score of 156.
