Lacrosse triumphs in Ohio; golf excels at Klash in Kentucky

Lacrosse and golf teams achieved notable victories over the weekend. The lacrosse team, now holding a 9-2 record, secured wins against Walsh and Ashland. Against Walsh, they overcame a halftime deficit to win 8-6, with Josie Lakosky contributing significantly with two goals and two assists. In their match against Ashland, the team scored nine unanswered goals in the third quarter to secure a 17-6 victory. Minnie Bittell was a standout player with seven goals.

In men's golf, the team emerged victorious at the Klash in Kentucky tournament. They led after the first round and finished ahead of Quincy and Asbury. Russel Sprecher claimed individual gold with scores of 73 and 76. Arthur Ylitalo tied for second place.

The women's golf team finished second in their event at the same tournament. They improved significantly in the second round to move up from third place. Maya Hunter won individual silver.

Men's Nordic ski participated in the SuperTour Finals alongside professional skiers. Luke Fricker placed 14th overall in the 10km Classic race, while Kristoffer Karsrud was sixth overall in the Classic Sprint final heat.

The women's Nordic ski team also competed at SuperTour Finals. Henriette Nilssen excelled by finishing second among collegiate athletes in both the 10km Classic race and U20 category.
