In the first two sets, the Wildcats dominated with scores of 25-10 and 25-6. The second set victory was notable as it tied for the biggest individual set win in the past 12 years under coach Mike Lozier's tenure. Julia Bouma achieved a career-high six service aces, contributing to Northern's season-high total of 12. Jacqueline Smith led with 19 kills, while Allie Barlow added 36 assists and seven kills. Liesl Haugen contributed defensively with 20 digs.

The Wildcats started strong in the first set with early contributions from McKenzie Gruner and Smith, leading to a quick advantage over Davenport. NMU maintained control throughout the set, ending it at 25-10 after a service error from Davenport.

In the second set, NMU continued its momentum with an early lead triggered by Barlow's service ace and additional kills from Helen Beiring and Smith. The Wildcats finished this dominant set at 25-6.

The third set saw a shift as Davenport took an early lead before NMU called a timeout. Despite efforts from Smith and Beiring to regain control, Davenport held on to win the set at 25-22.

In the final set, both teams exchanged points initially before NMU pulled ahead following several errors by Davenport. Bouma further extended NMU’s lead with three consecutive service aces, sealing their victory on another kill by Smith.
