The Northern Michigan University (NMU) Men and Women Alpine Ski teams are preparing to start their 2024 season at Giants Ridge, Minnesota. They will participate in a United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) two-day event on January 20 and 21. The races will commence at 10 a.m. each day, with Saturday featuring the Giant Slalom and Sunday showcasing the Slalom.

The NMU teams consist of a combined roster of 22 athletes, with 18 returning members including nine women and all nine men. In their first competitive season in 2022, both teams achieved first place at the same Giants Ridge event.
