The men's basketball exhibition between Michigan State and Northern Michigan University, known as the Superior Dome Showdown, will be televised on the Big Ten Network. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 13.

Bill Raftery and Lisa Byington will provide commentary for the event. Raftery has been an analyst and color commentator for CBS Sports' college basketball coverage since 1983. His well-known phrases include: "Onions!" for late-game shots, "Send it in big fella!" for slam dunks by post players, "With a little kiss!" for banked shots, and "A little nickel-dimer!" for soft fouls.

Byington, a native of Portage, Michigan, has experience broadcasting games for various networks including Fox Sports, FS1, Big Ten Network, CBS, Turner Sports, Pac-12 Network, ESPN, and the SEC Network. In 2017, she became the first female play-by-play announcer to call a college football game for the Big Ten Network. In 2021, she joined the Milwaukee Bucks as their play-by-play announcer.
