NMU Women's Golf Team begins new season at ODU Champion's Classic

The Northern Michigan University (NMU) Women's Golf team is set to begin their 2024-25 season in Columbus, Ohio. The team will compete in the ODU Champion's for Women's Classic from September 16-17 at the Champions Golf Course.

The Wildcats last participated in this event in 2021, where they emerged victorious among 16 teams and secured two top-10 individual finishes.

The Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invitational will take place at The Meadows Golf Course, a links-style layout. The course has a par of 72 and a slope rating of 137 for women. The team will tee off from the White tees, with a yardage of 5,886.

The lineup for NMU includes Hailey Bolander, Maddy Martens, Maggie Pietila, Payton Dube, Payton Donnelly, and Abbie Pietila.
