Northern Michigan women’s wrestling announces full schedule for upcoming season

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan women's wrestling team has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 season, marking the program's fourth year. The schedule includes four home events and trips to four different states over six months.

The season will commence on October 26 with the Green and Gold Intrasquad in the Dome. NMU will then travel to Indianola, Iowa, for the Simpson College Luther Hill Invitational on November 2. A series of duals against Alma, Davenport, and Adrian will follow on November 8-9. On November 10, NMU will remain in Adrian to participate in the Adrian Invite.

For the first time, NMU will face Grand Valley in a dual on November 16. A dual with UW-Oshkosh is scheduled for December 6. The final meet of 2024 will be at the North Central Open in Illinois on December 15.

NMU will host Alma and Davenport in the Wildcat Duals after the break on January 11. The next day, they will compete at the Lakeland Scramble in Wisconsin. On January 19, NMU will take part in the Alma Open.

The last two home meets are set for early February. NMU will host UW-Oshkosh on February 2 and GVSU for a dual on February 8.

The NCWCC Northwest Regional Qualifier is scheduled for February 22 in Adrian, Michigan. The National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship will conclude the season on March 7-8 in Coralville, Iowa.
