NMU swim and dive announces full schedule for upcoming season

The Northern Michigan University (NMU) swim and dive team has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 season. The season will commence in September and conclude in March, with several events hosted at the PEIF pool.

The team will start their campaign with Green vs. Gold exhibitions on September 20 and 21 at the PEIF Pool. They will then travel to St. Cloud, Minnesota, for their first regular-season match-up during the first weekend of October.

October will see the Wildcats returning home to host Saginaw Valley State on October 25, followed by a dual meet with Grand Valley State and SVSU on October 26.

In November, NMU has scheduled a dual meet with Wayne State and Findlay in Detroit on November 9.

December's competitions begin with the Calvin College Invite in Grand Rapids from December 5-7. Later that month, select members of the team will compete in Miami, Florida, at the CSCAA Open Water Collegiate Nationals on December 15.

After winter break, NMU will host UW Stevens Point for a one-day meet at the PEIF Pool on January 18, followed by a two-day diving meet in Stevens Point, Wisconsin from January 24-25.

In February, NMU travels to Green Bay to face UW Green Bay on February 1. They return home for Senior Day against Lake Superior State on February 8.

The postseason begins with the GLIAC Championships held in Holland, Michigan from February 19-22. This is followed by the Last Chance Meet on February 23 before concluding with the NCAA Championships from March 11-15.

The season officially ends with a spring scrimmage on April 18 at the PEIF Pool at 4:00 PM.
