State Sen. Ed McBroom, Rep. Dave Prestin, and Rep. Greg Markkanen will be hosting a town hall meeting at Bay College in Escanaba on Tuesday, Dec. 19. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss recently signed energy reforms that will require Michigan to have a 100% clean energy standard by 2040.
The town hall meeting will be held at the Joseph Heirman University Center, Room 952, and will run from 5 to 7 p.m. with doors opening at 4 p.m. This event will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the new laws and express their concerns about the mandates.
