Washington - Today, Representative Jack Bergman (R-MI) has introduced a resolution to censure Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) for her alleged antisemitism and response to the attacks on Israel. Bergman stated that Tlaib's "longstanding history of antisemitic and racist rhetoric toward Israel cannot go unchecked."

In Bergman's denouncement of Tlaib's remarks, he emphasized that Tlaib placed the blame solely on Israel and the Jewish people while disregarding the actions of Hamas terrorists. "As Hamas terrorists beheaded infants, paraded dead Jewish teenagers through town, and attacked innocent concert goers in the most deadly day for Jews since the Holocaust, Rep. Rashida Tlaib chose to place the blame solely on Israel and the Jewish people," Bergman stated.

Bergman further argued that there is no moral equivalence between Israel defending itself and Hamas attacking innocent Israeli civilians. He condemned Tlaib's alleged history of anti-Semitic tropes and anti-Jewish propaganda, stating that it is both disturbing and evil and has no place in the halls of Congress.

Representative Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) joined Bergman in introducing the resolution. Luttrell expressed his outrage at Tlaib's refusal to condemn the attacks carried out by Hamas terrorists, including the rape and murder of women, the beheading of Jewish babies, the burning of Jewish children alive, and the killing of Americans. Luttrell also criticized Tlaib for justifying these actions and referring to Israel as an "apartheid state." He emphasized the need for zero tolerance for antisemitism in America, particularly in Congress.

The resolution introduced by Bergman and Luttrell aims to censure Tlaib for her alleged antisemitism. It calls for accountability for her remarks and seeks to address the issue of antisemitism within the halls of Congress.
