In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, March is designated as National Reading Month to motivate people of all ages to read every day.
Mayor Robert E. Clark stopped by Monroe Catholic Elementary Schools St. John's campus to read "Lloyd Goes to Africa." Written by local authors Aaron Lavender and Stephanie Kasprzak, the story is inspired by the life of Lloyd D. Ward.
