Teen writers ages 12 to 18 are invited to join musician, poet, and youth mentor Troy Graham for a FREE creative writing workshop TODAY, Thursday, October 20 from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Starting with pizza and refreshments until 5:30, then an hour of engaging writing exercises and readings. Graham has over 17 years of experience mentoring youth though schools and YMCA programs. When you combine that background with his work as a musician and poet, he delivers an entertaining creative writing workshop for teens ages 12-18. Specifically, he is able to encourage students to be themselves artistically and to use the act of writing songs or poems to help relieve the stress or anxiety in their life.

Troy began writing poetry at the age of 15 and his love of writing has been a helpful coping mechanism for his depression and anxiety. Troy is also an actively touring folk musician in the Upper Peninsula and northwoods of Wisconsin.
