No Kids Hungry awarded Alanson Public Schools a stipend of $250 to be used for food service workers because breakfast counts increased 31% from October 2019 to October 2021. Colleen Mogford was awarded the $250 because she was responsible for those numbers increasing. She handed back the money and asked to pay off student balances and/or get special items for students on holidays.
