Today is the last session of our summer GSC Playgroup series, but don't worry: the Playgroup will begin meeting weekly* on Tuesdays starting September 6! This program is free and open to all caregivers with children between the ages of 0 and 5.
The playgroup will meet from 10:00am - 11:00am. Each week, caregivers will participate in a short storytime, crafts, music and movement, social/play activities, and/or math activities with their child or children. Caregivers must remain with their child for the duration of the program. No registration is required.
Please note that the Alpena County Library entrance is located on Park Place. Street parking is available for 2-hour increments or patrons may use the parking lots behind the Armory and at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Water Street. A paved walkway connects Park Place and Water Street between the Library and Northern Eye.
* The playgroup will meet weekly with the exception of holidays or days when the Library and/or APS are closed.
