Last week 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students at Atlanta Community Schools finished the series Teen Cuisine. Students learned about the importance of the 5 food groups, reading nutrition labels, the digestive system and had weekly food tastings.
This photo is from lesson 6 with 5th graders – Learning that fruit can be healthy not only when its fresh but also when its canned, dried, or frozen.
