Middle and High School Parents:
End of 3rd Marking Period - The end of the 3rd marking period was Friday, March 25, 2022. Progress reports will be sent home in the mail this week. Grades will continue to change over the reminder of the second semester. If you have any questions about your student’s grade, please reach out to their teacher.
Upcoming Testing - Students in grades 6-11 will participate in a variety of state testing over April and May. Students will test in the following areas on the following dates:

The State Superintendent has released a Parent Letter regarding spring testing. Please note, all virtual learners must come into the school for testing.
Tutoring - Tutoring is offered after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5pm. Mr. Erickson and Ms. Nelson are available for high school students. Ms. Birk (room 208) is available for middle school students.
Student Staying After School - Just a reminder that students should not be staying after school unless they are participating in an activity that is supervised by an adult (practice, tutoring, club meeting, etc.).
Virtual Learning for 22/23 - If you are interested in virtual learning for the 22/23 school year, you can complete a Virtual Learning Application and return it to the office.
Behavioral Health Support - We are very lucky to have multiple counselors on site to help students who need support. If your child is struggling and you would like more information, please contact the school. We will send home a Behavioral Health Referral to get the process started.
ParentVue - ParentVUE allows parents and guardians access to their child’s assignments, grades, attendance, teacher emails, and more. If you don’t have access to your ParentVUE account, please email Shawna Boyd (boyds@alconaschools.net) or call the office (989)736-8534. There is also a ParentVUE app for smartphones.
