City of Fenton issued the following announcement on Feb 3.
The City of Fenton Department of Public Works finished plowing and salting all major and residential streets in the city at about 11 a.m., said DPW Director Dan Brisson.
"We finished the first round at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night, gave the crews some rest and started again at about 2 a.m.," he said.
He also said the DPW was also busy repairing two water main breaks, one on Leroy Street and one on Fenway Drive. Repairs on both are complete.
Brisson said that while major intersections and streets have been salted, that it will take some traffic and slightly warmer temperatures for it to work fully. So drivers should still use caution.
Due to the weather, Fenton City Hall opened at noon today.
