City of Taylor issued the following announcement on Jan 31.
Residents should be aware that DTE Energy is currently scheduling overdue safety inspections for natural gas meters across the City of Taylor. DTE will be doing inspections through May.
The service is free and required by the State of Michigan. DTE is reaching out to homeowners through both mail and electronic mail programs.
Inspections on gas meters are needed to:
- Keep homeowners and their families safe.
- Ensure the equipment is safe and accurate
- Help DTE deliver safety and reliable service.
