City of Harbor Springs issued the following announcement on Jan 27.
An electric rate study conducted in 2021 concluded that the City should adjust its electric rates to cover the increased costs of service since the last rate adjustment and enable the City to make necessary improvements to its electric system. The Council then approved a rate-adjustment plan for 2022-2024 at its December 20, 2021 regular meeting. Please see the new electric rates for 2022 below.
