Alpena Public Schools issued the following announcement on Jan 27.
The APS District Administration would like to offer clarification regarding the school calendar. There were discrepancies in various calendars provided to the public on the days leading to spring break. For the days in question, the correct schedule is as follows: Thursday, March 24 will be a half-day for students and a full day for staff; Friday, March 25th is a full day off for both staff and students.
Evening conferences will still be held on the evening of March 24th for targeted students.
